Interestingly I was comparing mine and my neighbours the other day - his had tillered more but the tillers were small, mine had tillered less and was sown later and got very thirsty however the main heads seem to be bigger.

Wouldn't be so bad if we could get sun to move it through the stages but its 13deg and thick as pea soup this week
