Spring barley sampling

Hi,
I am a PhD student at Plymouth University studying the effects of environmental stresses on spring barley. I am conducting my own field experiment in a raised bed on campus this year and I was wondering if there was anyone growing spring barley in the local area this year that would mind helping me by letting me take a few leaf samples from their crop? This would really help me to see how transferable my results are to real-world agricultural conditions.
Thanks:)

I do not plan any spring barley in the rotation this year ....... but still have winter oats to plant ..... if it ever stops raining.
If the OP is based in or around Plymouth area it shouldn’t be too difficult to find someone willing to help. If OP drops me a PM with her location and which side of the Tamar is most convenient for her to sample I am sure that I can pass some contact suggestions that might be able to help.

This sounds a little bit like some work that James Hutton Institute did. I remember supplying some Planet spring barley for comparison with a crop planted same day in Aberdeenshire.
