Anyone else currently spray fungicide. Not sure if it worth it really? Planning on desicating it at the end of the month!

What growth stage is it at? I try and go awns peeping stage, which was 2 to 3 weeks ago in Cumbria ....feel I get a bit of spray on the awns and also not leaving flag leaf / leaf 2 exposed too long....

It’s beginning to senesce in Cambs. We always attempt malting so always do a t2 as ears fully emerge. Strob and prothio and bittersalz. Helps with screenings if nothing else.

Sprayed some later drilled stuff end of last week. Full ear emergence because I wanted to do a late wild oat spray with it. Prothio and used up some folpet.

Bit late now I’d have thought.
Laureate gone off very quickly with me this year. Sprayed couple of weeks ago at ears just emerged with prothio + folpet on what looked very healthy plants.

Not sure if it’s variety, being later than normal awns peeping stage or the loss of bravo.
Been all Laureate for 4 years and firs5 time I’ve seen it loose green leaf as early as this.

I didn’t bother it’s only had one fungicide and starting to turn a bit now
