Beet drill seeder unit U/S. Don't think harvester driver would appreciate it if I drilled 11 rows.....
Thanks for asking, wasted a day trying to sort it today and probably should have given up and gone spraying fert instead.

Always on a weekend!

Started drilling barley today, seeder would only work if spool valve left on constant pump once marker arm out.

Will do something about it tomorrow.

It should do that ok. I wouldn't go back to a power harrow drill now. If you get a press for plough you can go a lot faster with drill.
I do have a packomat in the weeds! I just can't see the point in working our ground in front of them. Unless you've thousands of acres to drill and going for 100 plus acres per day. Ph combi does it all in one run. We've no heavy land.

You will get a better idea after your demo.

We plough and packomat everything and follow with a pronto. Don't miss the power harrow at all, even on the heavy bits.

Far cheaper to run, ours is ten years old and only replaced cultivation discs once with plenty life left in them.

Let us know how you get on?

Aye u use half the diesel as only purring along and can unhitch the thing in 2 mins and take tractor to do something else. I press everything now. No inconvenience at all when ploughing. They don't take much to pull. Firms up light land as well so drilling tractor doesn't sink in
