Spring drilling 2021

In one of the driest springs on record I started drilling yesterday evening. 300 acres of oats in then got rained off. Just enough to send me home to the wife and kids but not enough to do any good. Strong winds forecast for tonight should have us going again by breakfast time. Will try and post some pics once we get going again

Never thought you had stones up there!

Is that your own machinery, or contractors our plough came from?

that’s them, last field so ploughed and sown same day. Could’ve been a rotten post stuck in the ground where we pulled a fence out to join 2 fields. Stones and bits of random bricks ex the airfield usually found.
