Sown oats , glysophate any weed flush before crop emergence.

Corn taking ages to come up snd now it is how behold the bloody weeds like redshank etc. Taking off?

Is Ally Max contact or residual herbicide as been quoted that.
As said has residual activity but not mentioned on the label. I know very liitle about oats but i'm led to believe that full rate ally max is very harsh on the crop. Despite what others have said i would want starane in the mix and cut the SU portion down a bit maybe? depending on how big the weeds are.

I've never grown oats so can't say definitely but ally is harsh on them and has a label rec not to be mixed with anything on triticale. I've tidied up a Wheat headland with half rate ally and half rate mcpa and where I caught the adjoining triticale it's bleached the leaves and made it look sick so I can quite believe that it is very harsh for oats too

I was led to believe the only sulfonylurea safe for use on spring oats was THOR, there is always a pot of it for my small area of oats, it hits redshank well provided its not to big.

I was always lead to believe you couldn't spray much in oats once up.
Maybe time moves on and product labels and recommendations change possibly?
