I couldn’t farm in Scotland. Not man enough. I would want it in end of August and no drying.

I couldn't farm down your way. Harvest july/early August then nothing to do for two months before starting drilling again! ;)

Basically we don't know any different, so all is ok. No blackgrass to stress about either.

I was thinking how would l have time for a BG chit in Scotland

This year I am going at 550 - 600 seeds. Just had seed dressed today, and will be paying royalty by the Ha as it is cheaper at that sort of seed rate.

Thanks I am tempted to go to that rate, i have enough to do the field at that with new seed but i have a few acres i could patch that didn't get drilled if i went a little lower

Best bit of spring wheat we've ever had I drilled at 350kg/ha, 175kg/ha up and down and when finished I drilled the field cross ways as well!
Came up in little squares!
Only recommended for square fields.
