What is that for? Never seen a trailer like that.Dropside, front rack and rear extension s?

Bales mostly, hence the rack and the extension, but we can't do without a tipping, dropside trailer for soil, stone etc.

Yes they're 400s. We wanted to keep the floor height down and 500s are about 3 inches taller

Yes, 6 stud rims. It won't have a lot of weight on it most of the time and you have to stop adding options at some point.

True. Have an old 12 by 7 tandem on 6 stud that the previous owner made heavy dropsides and rocking beams and a new floor with a crazy amount of bars in, it's got no brakes though and I'm wondering if it's worthwhile bringing up to date or forgetting about it and leaving as is.

Lot of work cutting the axles out but suppose you could just do 2 of them. A 12x7 is never going to have big weight in it so braking on 2 wheels might be plenty.

We have a 14 odd ton grain trailer with brakes on the front axle only, half a loaf is better than no bread.
