They'll be gone in a fortnightAnybody know if Squire Ultra herbicide will kill dandelions? Bit of an infestation here in grass but don't want to wipe out the bit of white clover too. The label only says docks and some broadleaved weeds. It doesn't specify which weeds.
There's a few docks and also a bit of cow parsley growing out from the hedges...Personally I wouldn't spray out just dandelions
The flowers might but the plants won't...They'll be gone in a fortnight
Killing broad leafed weeds and not the clover is always going to be tricky. A Triad/Spruce mix might give better results.
I think there reckon to be some clover safe products in the pipeline.
I think it will be that active, it’s maybe a growing market againI was told this about 5-6 years ago and that they were based on the same kind of technology as arylex but it would be such a small market compared to other sectors.
You would think so too , with the emphasis nowadays on reduced N use and more clover in sward that there would be plenty of options by nowI think there reckon to be some clover safe products in the pipeline.

I had heard that Triad might be going a while ago. It has been a while since I used that combination where I wanted to protect clover.I’m not sure you can still get those, I know I couldn’t last year. Was about the only halfway effective clover safe herbicide on reseeds.
If you can, I suspect Spruce alone would kill dandelions. They don’t take much. They’d have to be pretty bad before I’d bother though.
Mcpb was a good product, better than 24db in my opinion, sadly both gone
