Stainless steel sprayer tanks

Some older plastic tanks retain chemical residues and require more rinsing between crops due to sensitivity. Not uncommon to smoke the first few acres of canola after coming from cereals. Worst chem for drawing out the residues is liberty used in gmo canola. It acts as a soap scrubber inside the tank and booms even after ammonia washing.

Had a SS tank on a mounted sprayer, didn't seem any heavier but it was Taller and thinner so held closer to the tractor.
Can't think of any disadvantages other than SS may cost more.

Doesn’t stain yellow with Stomp like a white tank would.
Like for like whole sprayer is similar priced to brands with a plastic tank.

Basically the advice on this thread is to get a chafer with a stainless tank and be done with it... If you want the Rolls Royce outfit use a tractor with a CVT tranny and GPS autosteer. Oh and drive the pump off the hydraulics of the tractor.
