Ask £50 if they are interested. You might have spent £25 an acre on fertiliser. They have then effectively rented your field for 3 months for another £25 which seems OK to me. Reasonable crop will still be made at around £10 per bale. Then you can buy it back at £25 a bale for some horses:eek:

You could sell it at so much a big bale. It will cost around £30 per acre to make if weather is good and £3 each bale. So ask £5 or 6 per bale and you might get 50 to 90 pounds depending on crop. Buyer will still be getting a bale for no more than £12.

We have a few suplus ha and that is exactly what we do. €7/bale 6ft round. Too cheap probably but it helps a neighbour out and saves me wondering what else to do with it
