Staple gun recommendations

For a fencing contractor charging by the m does the staple/gas cost matter just add 10p per m?

This is what I have done although I split the cost and accepted half the increased cost being offset by reduced labour costs.
Stockade cordless here - no hang up over brands but very very happy - have the gun hanging on the back of the postknocker so find when on my own I staple everything as I go

adding onto meterage if i had stockade tge staples i think are around 6p each so i using at least 6 staples per post and posts 2 mtrs means an extra 18p per metre. im pretty sure customers would baulk at paying all that so would need to swallow some of it.

I can see no reference to a DeWalt fencing stapler in any of their printed or online info. I spoke to DeWalt HQ who denied any knowledge of such a product.
Has anybody seen one? Does it have a product ref no?

They haven't been released yet. Few out on demo to see how they perform.

Anyone had any problems with their KMR being temperamental? Ours has funny spells where it’s like the actuator isn’t engaging the firing mechanism.

Just to bring this back to life. Considering a KMR stapler. Just for on farm use. Don't do big amounts of fencing but dad is in his 70s and I also get sore hands/wrists so thought this might help.

Or do I stretch the budget for a dewalt?

Around £50 + vat for a box of 960, it’s the labour saving where you save money, doesn’t take long to staple up several hundred meters of fencing, about and hour and you can do 800 metres.
Aye I’ve got a KMR, decent enough, if I was still fencing full time I’d be looking at the dewalt or stockade for sure.

I did see the dewalt staples, they really do look the part, but the only thing I was worried about was that they were maybe a bit too beefy, do they run the risk of splitting the wood in years to come, something I quite like about the kmr staples is that they are really neat, dont do any damage at all.
