the 5 in 1 ultra is the one to look at also crimps joiners etc so a go to tool

i use a hayes pro crimp. which igot for crimping but is exelent for removing staples

crimp tool will. really small but strong 'nipper' and plenty of leverage strong quality tool

hmm thats not so cool, 90 quidish when l bought mine will last though good steel and alloy

Might be better cutting the staples with bolt cutters pull out the wire then drive what's left of the staples into the post

I just modified a cheap pair of bolt croppers... It might damage the staple but life's too short to reuse staples. Tin hat on.

Oi! I've several buckets of staples that I've pulled out with a Strainrite Easipullthingy that I was about to put on the classified section. You've just buggered that plan.

What's wrong with an old combine knife finger with a bit of solid bar welded on at an angle?

The Ezepull is fantastic for the job (doesn't knacker the staples too much either), but admittedly pricey. With a bucket on the floor to drop the staples in, you can fair fly along the fence pulling staples. The 'beaks' are sharp enough to pull must embedded staples out easily too.

Yeah I wouldn't be without mine, I see there's two handle lengths available depending on where you shop, I'd go for the shorter ones like mine. It's only an inch and a bit shorter but saves your muscles and fits better in the toolbox I reckon. I'm not going to buy the longer set to compare at the price though

Quick puller is very good for staples that have been driven right in. Isn't great for the wire though. For everything else I use the 5 in 1.

The ezepull tool for me cant be beaten very rare that i need to use anything else. Expensive yes. But an excellent tool
