Not started, waiting for seed but it’s taken this weeks really well with just flat lifting stubble and blew off quickly yesterday so will see where we are next week. Plus bg has just started to come in spots

Only drilled 10 acres of wheat as the only ground cleared until yesterdays maize harvest, was second wheat land.
Had a breakdown yesterday , so made a start this morning, but got rained off .
Not panicking yet as our one pass system behind the plough, will usually go.

Beans and maize still to cut, muck still to spread, nothing drilled. Wet til Monday on most forecasts.
The more optimistic ones show drier after that, the gloomier ones 3 dry days in the next 14...........yep I'm worried.

Managed to get our very heavy ground drilled last week, wouldn’t have got near it after this weeks rain but the ground has been taking well up to now!
Everything else we’ll be able to plough and combi like @silverfox just need a day without rain to get going again. Not panicking yet but ask me again this time next week :nailbiting:

2/3rds of autumn sowing done osr barley and wheat The lads on the plough cultivator and drill could almost stick their arms out of the window (if the fecking things would open) and touch fingers ,and that is the way we will continue now in the catchy weather , until or if we get weather window in our favour. The soil is turning over lovely and helping us make progress

Don't listen, it's a stupid rule. It's more likely to pollute if you spread on grass than stubbles anyway.
Think the ruling has been delayed?
Farmer over at Diddly Squat thinks it's daft too bin reading🙄
