I dont think the new one is going to be a game changer, its meant to be better for ryegrass and brome from what I’ve heard.

Sprayed brome with pasifica plus on a very worm day this spring no good at all , BASF new spray looked it up I could not find info on brome ryegrass at all is the info about it any where to reed about brome ryegrass or is it in the agronomist farmers domains thanks.

Might be wrong on brome to be honest. It’s a residual .
I fear brome will be out next problem with lack of chemistry as Broadway is hit and miss. However we are one of 3 in the country who are trialling a redekop seed control unit (seed smashing thing) which I think could be very useful on stuff like brome and oats which still have the seeds in the ear come harvest.
It’s with BOFIN run by Tom Allen Steven’s of CPM fame and NIAB. There’s a webinar next week introducing the concept of anyone is interested in alternative weed control?

Next year I am considering spraying brome with a product similar to pasifica plus but without the plus part can be sprayed well into may prob ably the brome will die back and it will take a while before it starts to recover by harvest then those feilds hope to get them whole croped . Whole croped some of these fields last year but the brome was ready for sheading and it has come even more, a plan or not?

Pacifica was useless on my sterile brome, this and resistant Ryegrass is becoming a problem as @Brisel predicted, hoping I will be able to get hold of it when I take a further step towards no-till. I really don't want to go back to the plough, particularly with the current price of diesel.

Exactly the same here. Needs to be on in March to do anything on Brome I think. Knocked second wheats back even in mid/late April.
