I'm after some prices for a new straw building, spec as below:

120' long, 40' wide, 22ft eaves height, 20ft bays
F/C roof, natural grey colour with 10% rooflights, wood purlins

No side cladding needed, But I require 1 long side and 1 gable end to have cleats welded to the stanchions @4ft centres down to 6ft above ground level for future yorkshire boarding. That gable end will also need a post (or 2) in the middle also with cleats on.

The other long side will need cleats welding on for future yorkshire boarding down to 6ft below eaves height, the other gable end will need drop posts or whatever you call them down to 6ft below eaves.

Hope that makes sense!:scratchhead:

1. Price for kit only, delivered to South Preston PR5 area

2. Extra cost for erection, it's a good level, hardcored site, we have a digger here for digging the holes etc

3. Extra for galvanised steelwork

@Graham Heath Construction

@anyone else!

Cheers

@Chuckie did you get a quote off Bits Welded All over? :D

NO:eek:

Still to make a decision on this, a couple of forum members are still in the running, along quotes from elsewhere, interesting how the spec and price can vary so much for the same shed......

I won't be going with the cheapest price though, smaller steel and timber than anyone else, don't want it to sag in a couple of years(n)
