Has anyone ever bought steel framed shed kits off eBay.
I was looking at a 60×30 Kit from a company in Pickering call Marshall Steel buildings Ltd . They seem to be quite cheap but just thought I'd ask on here if anyone knows anything about them or dealt with them .

He’s not far away from me, I think they are c e certified so they should be built to the correct quality for the size required,

Generally all the eBay kits are tin roof and no gutters, once you ad on cement fibre roof and side cladding and gutters your better off going to one of the main firms like Fowler and Gilbert.

There’s a nameless (currently pm me if ur interested) lot near us that fab up frames and put them in local rust sale (claims to be an ag sale!!!).
U get nothing with it, no bolts, no purlins, no sheets, no gutter, no CE no nothing.
A customer of mine bought one and asked why I was charging 10k to supply and erect a 60*40 when he’d just bought the building for 1300. Turned out that after he’d bought all the missing bits and we’d had to roof it out of 6’ f/c sheets to cover the purlin spaces. It was dearer then I’d quoted!!

Ive been looking at them too, just after the steel frame will sort the rest ourselves. Just need a roof to go over some sheep pens.
Cheap and cheerful probably do your job fine . I'm just worried about paying for one and I don't get the full kit . We're up in Ayrshire so would be relying on it being delivered without seeing it . I've went and seen a local guy this morning who works himself from his farm hopefully he'll quote me a decent price and we can pick it up ourselves.

How can these eBay buildings be ce marked as they don’t know the location of the buyer

All the buildings I supply are designed by a structural engineer for the specific postcode they are to be erected
The steel sizes can vary due to location, height, wind and snow loading
I've asked a local guy today for a price his sheds aren't CE but he's got a good reputation locally for his work .
