Thought they were both rh. But they will be loctited so may need some gentle warmth to free it.
Well not got the one side off yet and think you may be right on being R/H, phoned local case parts place up earlier but they not got back to me on the it ,

what happens when the poxy spanner slot burs over on the undone side 🤔,

I usually hope the side with flats on undoes first then I hammer a tight fitting spanner on and retighten that joint to help support the spanner. If the other side won't come undone I extend that side away from the seals and apply a little warmth.

Being a carraro axle some do have left hand thread and some don't. not helpful i know but that's how it is, hold one side undo the other, clamp a spanner on the small flat by retightening the ball joint on to it and then let it wedge itself against axle while undoing the other side, doing it any other way results in rounding off the flats on rod.

They are normally heavily loctited but i dont bother loctiting them back in, there no point if tightened right they dont ever come loose

If you are having problems with the dealer phone HES in Gloucester. They are Carraro dealers, providing you have the axle serial number they would at least be able to tell you if it is the same part number for both sides.

I've gone round the joint on side I'm replacing with grinder a little, just to same sort of depth threads would be, to relieve any clamping force where they butt together did the trick on stubborn one before. Tried heat before but didn't work before I got concerned about seals in rack.

Didn't think of that one , good idea 👍
hope not done any damage to seals , kept check temp by touch as went along , and only glanced burner over it , had to have the stilsons right on the edge of the silver on side got undone first cos flats had burred to much 😒
