Does anyone else get this?

Cacked myself when I had it first, thought it was a heart attack!

Dr tells me that the cartilage around my breastbone becomes inflamed and irritated, causing pain. I get it every now and again, especially after doing something out of the ordinary and a bit strenuous...

No cure, apparently, just time for the inflammation to go

Yes, and touch wood, have not died yet......
Can be something as simple as picking up a mug at full stretch or a funny angle aggravates it again, after months of being fine.

Same hear had exactly the same thoughts as yourself apparently everything checked out ok.

If I do a lot of lifting of heavy things and I usually do it flares up but goes after a few days.
