Stewardship...how much is covered?

So its my fist year with a mid tier grant. Money is tight so I don't want to plow lots of money into capital items they refuse to pay for. My current concern is the Electric fencing.. I have a grant for 600m at £X per metre. The spec tells you what size posts to use but not much else. Will they only pay for posts or does it include posts, wire, energizer, tester...??? Paying for posts to be knocked in??? I appreciate the grant wont stretch to cover everything!!

And I guess this applies to lots of capital items. Would they pay for concrete when fitting the Wooden Field gates for example ???

So its a question of how reasonable/flexible are they with the costs attributed to capital items.

Ok...so they are not too particular on where the money goes, so long as it is on the job and is proven with receipts

The finished structure has to be to the standard they specify and the rpa will pay you the amount agreed. You usually have to use new materials so receipts would be needed.

Receipts and photographic proof of the work. We weren't allowed to reuse materials, which was a faff, but could use retrieved fencing elsewhere on the holding. That sort of covered cost of the simple equipment bought to fence okkerd places.
