What's the NFU doing about this diobolical situation? I'm skint because I've not been paid and have bills mounting up - be thinking about not bothering renewing my NFU this time
for sure

I am not a NFU member so haven't felt that I could question their apparent lack of action over this. They have been trying to get me to join, but I am afraid that until I see them stand up to the RPA & Natural England I'll keep my £600.

THIS IS VERY SERIOUS...today I phoned RPA to chase my payments for 2018 to be told that they had paid it to me on 7th May2019. I assured them I had not received anything but they insisted that they had paid it . As I keep one bank account soley for RPA monies it was easy for me to check and confirm I had not received it. It will take "a while" for them to look into it, so please everyone if you also have not received anything please ring RPA as they might think they have paid you

Is this stewardship money you are chasing? Which number did you manage to get through to them on? Last time I tried I wasted 15 minutes of my life to eventually get through to an answerphone that I never received a call back from

03000200301, when you select the option for stewardship they ask for your county.
I decided to check they had not got another bank account number ...although they shouldn't have as I am the only one with permission on this business. They do have the correct number and when I told the girl why I was checking it she said that no payment had been made to me, and I should ring back NE to tell them.

I have received 75% of the payment for 2018 on a 2018 midteir application
It is a disgrace that every one who applied has not had a payment by now

Rpa and natural England should have been able to pay every one

I sent the claim form through their online system the original application was paper
Are the unpaid ones paper claims and they have not entered them on their system ?

That old chestnut ............................ didn't it use to be 'cheques in the post' !?!

........... and for clarity, I'm not sure why you are worried about your 2018 payments when several are still waiting for 2017.

I am concerned about my 2018 payment because I would like what's owed to me for last year. Of course I am concerned about others not having received all of their 2017 payment, but should that stop me from chasing up my own payments?

I’m not worried.
I don’t worry.
My bank manager worries for me.
No point in both of us worrying now is there??

we're all 'prisoners'....can't get paid....can't get out....punitive punishment for mistakes...i'll be bloody relieved when i'm out....feb 2020...they can stick renewing up their arse
Never a truer word said sir.
Its replacing the bulk of the income i'll struggle with but to be honest the arable sacrifices just aint worth it i think.
Leaving prime arable land Fallow thats currently got 100 diff species of hellish strong weeds to then take the next 24/36months to clean up at great expense isnt much progress

11ha out of production here just to get into HLS id much rather have it all cropped & being well manged, weeds under control the lot & in a rotation.

Nothing here yet for 2018 on a HLS/ELS agreement with a 2012 start date. Dunno why as it clearly states on my paperwork what the biannual payments are.

Do believe there actually 3 payments behind now as there was a 2019 payment due this month. so maybe I should just send them an invoice with over due on for the outstanding balance.
