We have little case farmall -new last year, and fairly sure it came from Italy (the old fiat factory?).

There was a slight hold up with it while the Italians had their summer holiday, (and the plant shut for weeks/ months!):LOL:
All farmall c's come from Italy, all luxxums, maxxums Pumas and Optums come from Austria. The factory is called st Valentine and it's near the town of steyr. Steyrs are not available in the uk but are identical to a case but just with different colour panels.

Not all, have seen maxxums, pumas and optums being built in Basildon, for the North American market. It was also interesting that they were still making T6070 etc for Iraq and Iran etc

i have three steyr tractors and make yt videos of them.⬇⬇ Profi 4110, Kompakt 4075 & T84

Yet Case tractors for the North American market are assembled in Basildon as they perceive them to be better quality than the Austrian built ones.
I would respectfully suggest( make that I know) that the NZ Case IH tractors being built at Basildon are far low spec than anything being built at St Valentin . The US farmers like their tractors Billy Basic and the workforce at Basildon can just about manage that !!! cant really go too far wrong fitting mechanical spool valves, narrow rubber and no computers !

I have seen fully spec Puma tractors leaving the Basildon plant, they are just as good at building tractors as they are in Austria !

Last time I went Basildon they sent a New Holland down the line and manage to put red rear mudguards onto it of a Case
Do you know if that was a balls up or if there was a reason why they did that?
I just don’t believe they’re that dumb.
It’s not as if they can just pick and choose from a range of bits to bolt on, everything is delivered to the point of assembly in the right order for fitting according to the model being built.

I would think both Basildon and StValentin build both high and low spec tractors according to the orders they receive, it may well be that some markets buy higher spec tractors than others, indeed, when I was last at Basildon just over a year ago there was a NH6070 going down the line destined for Iraq which whilst it would be considered an old model here and unavailable was obvious still available in certain markets.
They simply build what the customer orders.

And, even if it was a balls up, still better to fit the wrong ones and keep the show on the road. Not fitting them just leaves a set in the way and chaos for following processes (other parts, electrical tests etc)
