Still waiting for WW seed?

After countless phone calls I ended up collecting my wheat seed myself on Saturday and drilled it the same day, should have had it 3 weeks before.
Winter beans said today that they will be another 2 weeks as they needed germination test so I cancelled the order too late on heavy land. Fed up with seed merchants

Mines being delivered today 😕
Just had very heavy thunderstorm, sort of game stopping amount.

Although I've only just recovered from Covid and there's been a very big flush of blackgrass in the last ten days, so we will see what we can do from here.
How was it? Wife and I had it the week before last, it wasn’t any worse than regular manflu for me but with several days of wanting to go to bed by 9pm afterwards.

Personally not to bad, like a moderate cold/mild flu, but left as you a bit fatigued, more like 8pm bedtime here!
My wife had much worse symptoms high temperature and a hacking cough.

Home schooling a five year old was the toughest part for me 😬

And frustrating the weather was perfect but unable to do any field work.

Personally, I think it’s outrageous that these firms are not on top of timely seed deliveries - especially given the last few autumns we’ve experienced. Having been caught out a few times I had the seed cleaners on farm 7th September, and will be doing the same for the foreseeable!

I think I have already posted this point so forgive my forgetfulness, our winter barley seed crops sat in the shed from July until October before any was moved, and then the seed plants say they’re busy…

I isolated on my tractor for the last few days, the wheat wasn’t going to plant itself…
