Stirling is always cheaper for lims than H&H

they always look different in scotland - prehaps bred not fed ?

I thought there was a very good show of Limousins at Stirling yesterday,as good as I’ve seen for a while. Some of the bulls looked very good value for money but many people concerned about feed & fert prices going forward this year.
I would be surprised if Carlisle was a better show commercially this week but of course there will probably be 2 or 3 better breeders bulls at Carlisle.

What the difference between bulls which go to Stirling or Carlisle? I just thought the bigger breeders made more money at Carlisle?

Stirling bulls tend to have more frame, bone and growth, Carlisle bulls are generally more shapey, cleaner through the middle and more second thigh. That’s tends to be the way of things in Limousin and Charolais world
