I thought there was a very good show of Limousins at Stirling yesterday,as good as I’ve seen for a while. Some of the bulls looked very good value for money but many people concerned about feed & fert prices going forward this year. Those limo bulls don't seem very expensive, most around 4 grand.
What the difference between bulls which go to Stirling or Carlisle? I just thought the bigger breeders made more money at Carlisle? There’s Stirling bulls and Carlisle bulls - not better or worse just different types.
Back end bulls were a good trade, there’s are only so many cows and so much money about.
