Stocks Ag Fan Jet Mini

We have a new Stocks Ag Fanjet Mini with i-con controller.
In the control unit under the Alarms Setup menu, the default is for the spinner fail alarm to be "On ".
However , when this setting is selected the unit will not work .
The spinner itself works fine but once you commence work and travel a few metres the Spinner Fail alarm comes on. During this time the spinner never stops working but the dosage roller never engages.
If you turn the alarm setting in the control unit to "Off " the whole thing works fine.
We have tried another brand new unit and it has the exact same problem.
Has anyone on here experienced the same problem and was there a solution?

Ted - did you get this sorted?
Hello.
Yes, finally sorted. When selecting a spinner speed below 60 % the amperage draw is lower than the threshold at which the alarm is triggered.
So the unit thinks the spinner has stopped and initiates the Spinner Fail alarm.
Lowering the Fail threshold setting to about .2 of an amp allows us to work down to 30 % spinner speed when broadcasting clover over 4 mtr.

Hi Ted - glad you got it sorted. You have adjusted exactly what we would recommend. The threshold on the Icon has no issues being down to 1 Amp - all this is actually looking for is an open circuit. If you have any photos send them over and we can use them on social media and our website. Send them over to [email protected] for the attention of Symon
