A) Shows how useful CCTV is. "Do you recognise any of these men?" Yeah right.
B) Shows how useless the police are (or how heavily they are constrained). The cops were close enough to have a metal bar thrown at them, which was enough to prevent them following and stopping a 4x4 towing a trailer and a bloody telehandler?

Further to my previous post, for clarity, I was supposing a security franchise, not a crime syndicate!! (PMs with offers will not be answered...)
I find it incredible that each atm does not already contain a transponder indicating its position if disturbed. Once stolen, its possibly two hours before its opened?
Its similarly incredible that plant insurers do not require Tracker or similar in all high cost plant &equipment as a condition of cover. How many farm tractors are so equipped??
