Unfortunately over night we have had 2 tractors and a telehandler stolen, driven through crops and fences and loaded onto a lorry at a disused concrete plant before being spirited away.

Got the NFU text @ 9.16 am. for this, at least they were on the ball this time, two Honda quads and a van to put them in disappeared from around here last week, apparently it was all over Facebook a day before the NFU decided to get their act together.
Sorry to hear of your loss, did think at the time they must have been a super organised team to spirit away three large viechles like that without anyone being aware or seeing anything.

I blame google maps for this sort of crime. Everyone can see the lay of the land, previously not seen unless they knew the place or been for a reccy first.

So much of this now, at one time, news like this would have been a 'shocker'

It should be on the front page, who cares if it disappears in 3 hrs. Speed is the essence of tracing stolen tractors

Virtually no checks on vehicles leaving the UK at ports. When this problem is addressed then crime will drop.
