stopping supermarkets changing contract prices with no notice

I have a lawyer friend who wants to look into a way to stop supermarkets being able to change there contract prices to farmers with no notice or to stop milk contract prices being moved up and down like a yoyo.
But they need to see old or current supermarket and dairy milk contracts.

Its the terms and conditions we are after, not the contract information, so you can delete or not include all you business details and figures.

Do any farmers on here have contracts that they would allow us to analyze?

Supermarkets not only dictate the price they also dictate the conditions, who else are you going to sell to? Try selling retail? in the "good old days", 50 odd years ago, every highstreet had independent, fruit and veg, greengroucers, butchers etc, that bought off wholesale markets, now most of the wholesale markets have gone so have most of the independent highstreet shops? Should have in hindsight kept in some form the marketing boards that set the prices?

I heard the grocery code adjudicator speak last week. He seems to have more teeth than expected. He is an experienced lawyer who had a poker face so would stand up to retailers.
He welcomed information via their website by email which will be completely confidential even not mentioning the commodity far less the business.
He has the powers to issue large fines and damage reputations if needed. It sounded much more positive than I imagined.
