Storage required

Hi everyone

We are a wholesaler of sparklers and similar products and these are treated as hazardous goods so we have to adhere to certain guidelines re HSE etc.

We are looking for approximately 3000 square ft but the building needs to be 26 meters from on site stores and 17 meters from a road.

I can be contacted on 07966 471022 at any time for further details

Best regards

I like how you sell it as "Sparklers and other products" rather than . 3000 sq foot of fireworks  I have gone a bit anti-fireworks of late... a large industrial firework was intentionally launched into a residential estate recently but some youths.. very very narrowly missed striking a retired gent outside his home, it lodged in and then torched his hedge and only by luck and the quick actions of neighbors did the fire not torch my mothers car and bungalow! I see no place for such powerful fireworks to be in the hands of anyone except licensed users.

Actually we would only be storing lower hazard items than the products you allure to. We specialise in sparklers, Ice Fountains, Indoor Fireworks, Fun snaps, Party Poppers. That sort of thing. All the goods for storage would be hazard 1.4S UN0337 which don't even fall into the scope of ADR.

We also stock and store large fireworks as we also do large professional displays but these are kept in remote areas in Dorset.

As for misuse of large fireworks, well I guess that's another debate but it is an industry wide opinion (and agreed with by senior police and fire officers) that banning such items would increase the underground illegal supply of such items. There are already adequate laws to deal with misuse but they don't seem to be applied. Interestingly all fireworks are banned in Ireland yet they use more fireworks than any other country in the EU.
