Have you ever used border livestock exchange, or Farmstock to sell your cattle?
I’ve bought from both, and both were straight forward to deal with.
Or just call Derek Anderson at UA , and he’ll sort you out !

Cattle are still going to have to be moved farm to farm even if they do what you think might happen.

But no reason at all for livestock markets not to stay open, sensible measures have been put in place and as long as people abide by them then there shouldn't be a problem.

spoke to an auctioneer today, guv is very keen to keep markets going, simply to keep the supply chain going, but, as things are going, probably shut tomorrow !!!! We have cattle booked for next Friday, with a different firm, and they are saying the same, will be very strict rules, and we should all follow them.

If it comes down to stock being traded farm to farm, I would strongly recommend doing it through a reputable Livestock Auction Mart. They will have their regular buyers looking for stock and normally guarantee payment and act impartially. Unlike freelance livestock agents, they have mart premises and mart staff to support. In this area, there is a wide choice: Aberdeen, Stirling, Lanark, St Boswells, Wooler, Hexham, Longtown, Carlisle, Darlington.
