Store lamb prices

Has anybody sold or brought any store lambs this week?
Usually sell remaining lambs store in August/ September but somebody wants to buy them now,
Question is what are they worth?

Skipton's sale second week in July is usually an early benchmark, not that it helps you now.

Saw some last week at Bridgnorth, biggest would be 30kg an some rams in with them, £64!! They wanted a bath too? serious price I thought but I’m always amazed by store trade

Abit sharp, yes some of those north of England sales set the trade but not for a month yet, heard that caledonian marts are moving there store sales to a Wednesday, be a Monday as far back as l remember, hoping to get afew buyers from the ua.

How long is a piece of string? All depends what the buyers want. I go on body condition, bone structure & health. Weight is something that happens if the other 3 are right!

But I do deal in hill lambs more than "proper sheep"??
