Storing chemical over season.

spray contracting for another farmer and inherited his spray store. There is some cans in there that he bought last year and will probably be enough to do next year and maybe some the year after. what are people’s thoughts on how long the chemistry will last. And how best to store them, would shaking them up every few months help? Can’t remember what it’s called

got a message back from fellow farmer, it’s rapier(epoxy) and there is not as much as I thought so it will all be used up next season.

Epoxiconazole withdrawal timeline
  • Last date for sale and supply: 31 October 2020
  • Last date for disposal, storage and use: 31 October 2021


It'll keep til next year just fine - be sure to use it all up though.

Chemistry should be fine but I would be concerned about freezing in winter. Otherwise shake the cans well before use. As above, beware of approval dates and batch numbers. Rapier is only for sale until November this year I think but use by harvest next year as you said.
