Met office and Metcheck w/site, for North Pembrokeshire, shows gust getting back below 50mph by tea-time.It’s giving us a right battering here
Yes. Got sand blowing in field behind house
The best Thai rice is £15/10kgs in a Chinese supermarket, £300+ delivered to the rice mill, just need to drag Scotland 3000 miles south, or wait for global warming.Central scotland, usual flooded fields but just windy, nothing damaging yet. May take up rice farming to diversify if this weather keeps up, what's uncle den price per ton.
Im hoping the spring barley doesn’t blow ?It's a bit blustery down here but luckily no rain and it feels very mild.
If we dont get a lot of rain this wind will do wonders to dry the land .
I can’t see me getting much lime spreading done this morning.
Quite a lot of my neighbours' spring barley is puffing. If it stays dry it will only get worse. I am pleased I didn't sow any last week with the minimat because those fields would be in Thetford this morning.
Hopefully we will get 10mm soon
If it does put a photo in the Anyone Drilling thread to cheer up everyone who's been tearing their hair out watching your perfect drilling while our quad bikes are getting stuck!Im hoping the spring barley doesn’t blow ?
