What's the correct way to insert the above type drain into concrete. I will be pouring a slab in front of a new shed to match up with existing floor in the shed. This gulley will be in front of the shed. Is it just a case of pour the concrete and push it in to the wet concrete or is there a better way?

i have used a dry mix, bank up the sides 25mm down from top, so you falls are set up

Don't use cheap crap drainage channels, we use these and have never had an issue.

200mm concrete bed, haunch the sides leaving 100mm minimum for structural concrete.

I use Aco s100 010 channels, these are 190 deep and carry alot of water. Depending on the application you can install a sump to easily maintain.

and when you pour the slab to them make sure they are well taped up to stop any mix getting in them.
you will fix them to the top of your drain pipe, and set them in with a couple of barrow mixes the day before.

The metal gratings removed and a cut of ply put in tight seems to work best to keep surfacing concrete out
