13.5 mm. Semi-powercut light bulbs glowing dimly, electric kettle taking 15 mins to come to a very gentle boil.

3 artics of mag-lime turn up unannounced to tip on a head land. It was arranged that they would start tipping last week because it was dry! First driver was very calm and asked to be towed in, second said he would do it himself - roared around - got set - had to tip where he would block everyone else and had to be dragged out, last one refused to be towed but went about it steadily and managed to tip it without blocking the track. Managed to stop the rest until conditions improved.

None here at all today and still bloody hot.went to emneth this morning and poured all the way from snetterton and most of the way home too.hope it pours tonight.

Nothing to do with weather, but where are you hauling your maglime in from?

The reason i ask is that up here in Durham we've got nations of maglime, but as our soils are already off the scale index wise, we really could do with some calcified lime. I'd hate to think that your artic wagons are running down to you loaded with maglime from up here and then running back empty, when they could be carrying some calcified lime as a back load...

Ticket is from Lafarge Aggregates in Leicester. They are taking soya back from Tilbury.
