Storth ‘auto’ scrapers

Very pleased with my Storth scrapers which have been in for six years now but had a repair on my scrapers for a burst pipe. Not an issue as we’ve had a few over the years and they’re to be expected. My problem is turning the machine back to its auto setting when it hasn’t actually been serviced. They only run for half the year so why should I pay for an annual service just to reset back to auto? Anybody know the code?

Woah now they stop being usable to you unless they're serviced by storth?

they don't stop you using them, mine have just been serviced yesterday but when it needs a service it will kick out of auto mode once every 24hrs to remind you and you can't override it until they've been done, its the make sure people have them serviced…you've only got to push the auto button to kick them back but it is a pain

Is this only with the hydraulic ones or all storth?

pass on that,i guess they all need servicing though…storth employ a local independent guy now in my area which works well with us,i think the main thing is that if people could wipe the service message then they wouldn't bother getting them serviced and then down the line would moan when something breaks so i can see it from their side but it is a pain

Ours are serviced annually by stamford ag services, if you see the state of the oil and filters when taken out youd appreciate the need for a service, with regards to a code I dont have a clue on that one, just press the auto button and off yer go

i was quite shocked at the state of the oil yesterday that came out!! its ok when they kick out of auto like they have done this time just after the 11am scrape but the first year they kicked out at midnight which was a body nuisance

Thanks guys.
Been putting it back on auto everyday just after midday but bums me out when the old man forgets. Just seems a shame when the pipe bursts the oil reservoir needs filling up with new oil anyway. Maybe I should have asked the tech when he was here to just switch it over. Just thought I was a missing a shortcut.

What servicing is there, change the oil and filter?
