Stot with swollen foot

Brought stots in yesterday and this one (the one that had pneumonia earlier in year) has a swollen rear left foot. He's a bit lame and isnt putting full weight on it when standing resting.

Had a thorough look at him on Tuesday and wasn't swollen so he's not been like this long.

Vet advised giving him 20ml of zactran which is expensive but it was also what I had leftover in a bottle which needed used. Jagged him yesterday but don't see any improvement today.

Has anyone used this and found it effective? Is so, how long did it take to work?

Looks like foul. We usually give a shot of Tylan, clears it up quickly.

Thanks everyone, il give it a week and reassess. At least I have him where there is a crush accessible so that's a plus.

Oh and @Northeastfarmer ur bloody right on that one. He's caused me no end of problems and expense since I bought him in April and the 19th Nov can't come round fast enough!

Maybe iv been lucky but I can't remember the last time the fatteners cost me more than a bottle of Swish and some Closamectin.
