Most viruses get less severe as they mutate. If you caught the original version you had, on average, a 99.904% of not dying. The latest version is by all accounts very mild but we still have this nonsensical reaction as pointed out by the South african doctor who announced it
When are people going to wake up that this is not about illness but about a change in the world order and the introduction of digital identity etc. You are losing your freedoms and no one seems to be in the least bothered. It really is time for people to take back control and to call a halt to this nonsense.
Meanwhile it is becoming clearer by the day that the vaccines are causing issues as recently pointed out in the Lancet.

The US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identifies four of the top five counties with the highest percentage of fully vaccinated population (99.9–84.3%) as “high” transmission countries, "
