Hi guys.
IMAG0707.jpg IMAG0709.jpg I Have an old but well minded bogballe exw. With the blue callibrator box. Went away washed and oiled last autumn and now has a strange issue. The weigh cell is working properly weighing right, counting down and correct when empty. The speed sensor (pulse on tractor wheel) is reading correct. Distance travelled is correct. The actuator is working correctly, open and close easily. All slides are free and well oiled. I have callibrated the open and close and it seems fine. The amp reading is around 2 when moving and goes up to 9 when it hits the stop. 14.4 v on systek and all looks ok. Went into the second menu and matched the movements to the scale. If I hit spread when tractor not moving the actuator moves a tiny bit and the low speed warning comes on. All as it should be ........BUT
when I start spreading the actuator opens completely and the speed warning "too fast" comes on immediately.

Can you set a basic calibration for it to update with "experience"?.. on the non weighing type its would be a wrong calibration weight that it thinks it cannot get enough material on at the speed you are doing.

Ok I found a dirty connection in the plug....(looked spotless but on a mates advice I cleaned each female terminal with a tiny drill bit and found a crappy one)
Then I noticed that the calibration setting had reverted to 5 again ...(mystery as to why) but after cleaning it seems to hold at right setting approx 19) So you may be right about the system experience. Seems to be working right now empty ....now just waiting for rain to stop to try in the field. Will let you know. Thanks a mill. N

Make sure the big jack plug is fully inserted, doesn’t need to come out much at all to cause some weird and wonderful behaviour , weight of the cable juggling about enough for it to pull it out slightly .
