AHDB strategic farm launch in Wiltshire 5th December.

Anyone going? I got my letter through last week I think... looks interesting. Would be good to meet some of you if you go.

Anyone attend? Good of joe to bare all on the figures! Think I’d split highs and lows personally as the drop in milk might be worth it. What’s others thoughts?

Yeah that was interesting. But I liked the simplicity of feeding one diet and wonder if the added costs are worth it in terms of fertility and avoiding transitions between groups.

One diet might be simple but I would have thought it would be 2 or 3 loads a day in the mixer as it was relatively small therefore why not have a high and low mix. Even send the lows out 6 months. Pretty high costs didn’t leave much of a margin!
