I did it :smug: slow but feel epic, had an oat breakfast bar every 45 mins and kept drinking all the time, may have stopped for ice cream half way round

If I'm in a competition I squirt an energy gel into my water bottle to save messing about with it when riding and eat an ALDI serial bar after about 2 hours, that seems to work for me. Many of the people I ride with have their own rituals before they start usually a banana or cold rice pudding or even a can of coke just before the off.

Well done!

I usually have a decent breakfast or lunch before a long ride i then carry cereal bars, wine gums and a packet of cliff energy blocks. I eat a little and often longest ride to date 85 miles. Will happily stop for a bacon buttie and a brew if others want to. Drinks wise it is robinsons squash with High5 neutral tablets i use SIS 1 litre bottles and carry two i use 1 litre every two hours so on a 60 mile plus ride i am looking for a shop to top one of the bottles up with lucozade sport.

I’ve got my Aldi sensor thing to give my speed and distance etc. It uses the crane app, can this be linked directly to strava? It’s not the most user friendly to figure it all out

I think you have to transfer from the crane app to Strava, just done a quick search and can't find out how.
