I have one climb thats tempting me to go 11-34 next, I have a compact on the front :(
More importantly the langma looks cooler with its better routed cables:cool: nice and understated. I would go with the langma and be sure of those Welsh hills :)

Haha ok! Also from the technicals is there much difference between the Langma and my current one? My other option is just to pimp my ride  :ROFLMAO:

Just noticed the langma is Shimano 105. So you will have 11 gears on the back, its also a carbon frame so should be lighter than your current bike.

If you are spending that type of money why not save up a little more for disc brakes? That’s the way road bikes are going. You will be thankful when you upgrade to carbon wheels, believe me wearing expensive carbon rims out with braking is not the way to go! Personally I think you will be very pleased with the difference a carbon frame and better gears will bring, it would be nice to try before you buy as these things aren’t cheap!

That makes total sense. I’m in two minds with what to do. There is nothing wrong with my current bike but it’s not a pretty colour. I am competitive with myself and my dad but not overly racing. The more expensive ones are so pretty though :nailbiting:

I have a similar problem. Want to change my bike, biggest issue is all the suitable bikes are in rubbish colours. Why does everything have to be grey or black. Don’t the manufacturers know red bikes are faster :)

I think bikes are ridiculously expensive at the moment I think I would be tempted to wait until the 2021 models come out then buy a 2020 one.
That’s definitely an option, realistically I won’t want to spend the cash until August time and then I’ll hardly use it over the winter :nailbiting: I’ve just messaged someone asking for a price on a respray for mine just to compare

You could always have a play with the Trek, Orbea or Ribble websites , you can design your own colour scheme. Orbea and Ribble not unaffordable, Trek definitely pricey. I keep considering an Orbea.

Apologies to ask again. Is there much difference to this and my avail 2? I posted the link just up a few posts?
I’ve found one for sale second hand that’s hardly been used. I can see it would have been about £1100 new and it’s up for £400?
I can see it’s got disk brakes? Plus it’s pretty?
Quick look and I cant see any difference, but then I'm a botcher / wannabe engineer ... get someone to go look at it , dont have buy it unless it's a genuine bargain, of which there some around of all types of stuff. ....every now and then something pops up ,

Carbon fibre or what ever it is in frames is Interesting...lovely design strength for weight....

...just needs ......an engine to be perfect ..:D

Opinions people? I’ve got the opportunity to buy the exact one for £2k and it’s done 100 miles: would it be too much for me?
Always buy the best you can afford 2k sounds a hell of a lot for a 2nd hand bike though so I would make very sure it's theirs to sell first.
