had a go on one last week - great bit of kit but £££££ !! one i tried was over 12k !
felt like cheating really so fun as it was I’m

A friend of one has done 8000 mikes this year. He does do a 25 mile round trip to work 4 days a week. No mean feat when it’s shift work having to leave at 4 am.

Update on overshoes. Used for the first time yesterday. Dirt, freezing rain and a little snow. Feet stayed warm if not perfectly dry.
The merino wool base layer was brilliant

Can anyone recommend winter gloves for a 5 year old? His poor hands are going white!
Ideally for walking but also able to do his gears on his bike (twist). I’ve ordered 3 different pairs on Amazon that have been useless

Have a look at Hupp racing its mostly kids sized lycra but they may have winter gloves

I've got the Halfords one and it's fine for doing my mountain, road and commuter bikes. Needs keeping tightened up but makes life so much easier especially when doing things like gears and brakes where you need to spin the wheels

First outing today since turboing all winter! Super pleased with how my fitness levels were and I could just keep climbing on the hills
