According to @gone up the hill very little. @7610 super q is swinging to the other extreme. Honest answer will be a bit more than last year.

Keep up:ROFLMAO:

I think standing straw will be anywhere from 15/25% up on last years prices as standing crop.

I would suggest that the OP agrees to sell/ buy ( whichever he is doing ) the crop as standing straw based on the average auction prices in that area which take place this year! fairest way for both buyer and seller.

Pointless working on last years prices as you could be way off the mark either way.

Some are talking down here of £100 acre but I think that will only be for the odd field that has a good crop as at 1.5 ton acre that would work out at something like £110/120t delivered in, cant see farmers buying much ex field at that money.

This could be the year that straw ex field is more expensive than straw ex shed next winter.

Way too little, even I would chop it at that money if I had no stock and my views on chopping straw are well known on here!

Worth £50t ex baling and loading on arable areas.
Excellent offer Guthrie will split the difference @£40 ton you bale Chase. And stack. You are welcome to 500 acres Please send your detail and 50% deposit and you can have it upon return of contract

On your yields that's dearer then you pay per ac

Last year yes but no one currently knows what standing straw trade will do this year but farmers will only bale straw if they can get a sensible price and that has to be £40/50t this year ex field ex baling.

Say £45t + baling+ haulage etc will make it £80/90t delivered in and I cant see it being much less than that tbh this year.
