Yeah fair do s, but the environment agency certificates to take in and process waste wood alone, plus the machinery and so forth the price would be too much for a small guy like me with a 250 kw boiler to bear

They are making a lot off that as they’ll be being paid about £25/t to take it in. Processing is probably around £5/t and then some fixed costs to come off but I bet they are at least £45/t in their pocket!

Are you getting 4000kwh/tonne?

£31/t delivered here. Getting about 6-700 kWh / m3 at the meter.

FEC do it all, straw is all with in a few miles, grade a is less than 10 miles away, now burning logs and chip to which gets delivered to me!

I have a dragon 370kw

The whole farm now smells like an ash tray. As does the house if the wind changes direction

Got black lumps of tar all over my crewyard 50metres away and more than likely lung cancer from the permanent fog shrouding our valley.
I've got the same boiler and it's been a horror story from day one! Had boiler and 15000litre tank at 215'c; now that was scary. Gone thru 150000litres of water refilling it after blowouts and been up 'til 1a.m with it more nights than I care to remember. Now after only 123days of heat Phil at Dragon wants £3000 for a new Control Board, even though the original one's failed! Not enough room on this forum to list the other relentless problems!
What warranty!!???

Can you not fit a farm 2000 control box to it? Must be running the same thermostats/pumps/fan?
