Any ideas on the cost of an open sided straw shed big enough to hold 300 acres of straw so around 450 tonnes. The bales would be 8ft x 4ft x 4ft. Stone floor as we would use pallets to put the bales on.
Could be cheap, could be dear, without the size we have no ideaNo idea on size but I’ve seen an add in the FW (I think) quoting a new straw shed at £15k delivered but not erected.
Graham Heath 100x50x21 roof on legs in March £21000. Same shed at cereals (July) £30000. We added side cladding to the ground on all sides with two door openings to the March price for £8000. i put footings in and erection was £6250. £500 for big jcb and cherry picker.

Yes a good firm, but the eaves beam gutters, which we have on a shed , are now £££. £200 for a 20’ length, last year, how much they are now I dare not imagine!Get some idea of size and a quote from Shufflebottom in Llanelli, South West Wales.
