Have used Yorkshire boarding on trailers if they are only used for bales, won’t last forever but easy to replace if damaged & with small spaces between quickly dries

Steel cheque plate. . Scaffold will be rottin in under a year , all wood is shyt these days all of it , use metal where ever possible. .

This, probably not a expensive as you think & will last a lot longer than wood

We just put wooden boards on ours

Decent planks with a gap between if it mostly lives inside, chequer plate if it lives out. Forget scaffy boards

Did one years ago with weld mesh. Rain didn't sit on it when left out but not the prettiest thing to look at.

If purely hay and straw trailer just put in metal cross members.

Did ours with heavy reinforcing mesh. No good for machinery though.

Keruing wood planks is the correct wood to use for trailers. Which most trailers are made from that have wooden floors, including artic low loaders etc...

Anyone ever used stockboard? Saw someone using it on a flatbed
