And if I was going to buy a shearing machine, I would not have one with a motor in the handpiece (well I would, really good for dagging the odd ewe, especially 12 volt), but for shearing I would buy a lister two speed with a flex drive.If you get a machine, even a 12v one, and learn to do it yourself, you will at least have the choice of when to do it. Always plenty of little flocks about that struggle to get a 'proper' shearer in, and who are used to paying well for the service, if you have the time or inclination to do it.
i don't want to sound mean....but arn't you a little 'accident prone' when it comes to sheep...was it you got crovect all over yourself?.....have jabbed yourself with hep for the full set?
