More people than anything. Started during week. Went to weigh lambs and asked father to help. Got all ready to start and he decided he wouldn't so fought with them and took whole day and done them all myself and got 28 ready to sell. Marked them and dad rang lamb group and they said keep them till next week as price may be better so has to let them all back out again, Friday night was told at 11 that he's taking them to mart on Saturday and got roared at for not havjnf them tagged even tho I djdnt know about it. Got phone call first then yesterday asking to go cart for a man I know that had steep fields and wanted me to do them instead of other men, so had him in ear asking for help and dad shouting in Oher war about lambs. Didn't get lambs done as rain came on and has to silage the fields before got slippy. So today Iv been completely blocked by family and ignores the whole day. Sorry for the rant. And j know honestly there's far far more important things than my probs but to me there big

Hello. Really really not sure the point of this thread but strugglingly abit personally last few days if I'm totally honest and wanted to say it outloud to folk to see if it helps instead of bottling it up. Hope no one minds
Talk away if it helps or PM me or someone else if we can help. I probably have a go at you from time to time, but it's only because I get exasperated at how you get treated by you folks and the fact your a good shepherd who could make a real good go of it, if only they'd let you.
We all want the best for you.

A problem shared is a problem halved and as long as you've noticed you can address it. Just slow down and look at the bigger picture, don't put yourself under to much pressure and have a day off, sounds like you need it.
I seem to be chasing my tail a bit this year as well and will be glad to be bringing in some money in a month or two, the wallet is a bit bare!
All the best banjo

Honestly will. Iv watched your threads and you really need to be away from this and make your own way. You seem like a very capable lad so would be valued. Farmings hard enough when you have a father that supports and helps you rather than a father that causes you this sort of stress.

Have told you myself Will to either stand up to him or leave!
It's about time someone showed him that you can't be treated like that!
I'd bugger off for a month and let him see how he gets on without you! Go work for someone where you can stay.
He can wallow in his own muck!

Will if you can't leave for a while, you need to not take it in to yourself so much. Push back a bit, explain to everyone you can't be cut any thinner and you're doing your best

It's not a life sentence and I really think you need to get away for a while to take the stress away

You'd be welcome anytime here ;) and there's only two collies here who'd not judge you

Yes. Try and find a way to get away for a few months. I would have you in a shot if I had the work for you.

You have a passion for farming that is a shame to waste.

Will, from what I've read you obviously know sheep and are a good tractor driver, also you're a grafter that has the respect of folk you've worked with round the area.

Your dad is f**king lucky he has you to sort his sh!t out for him, so don't go putting yourself under pressure by trying to do everything for everyone, there's only one of you and you only have one life, so do what's right for you.

You could do so much better for yourself by going out on your own instead of your dad/family dragging you down.

Best to get it out, it might not change anything right away, but at least it's said and acknowledging it is the start of getting things sorted. Every has rough times, remember you can't please all the people all the time. I hope next week runs better for you

I suggested I have a at home holiday for while to see but was laughed at, if I'm seen inside during week I get shouted at. Eventually I just do it anyway. One thing that gets me is Iv all these people phoning me or wanting me to help them but if I suggest helping me for while they all suddenly before busy and don't want to know
